Colin is an economist and he has been involved in the successful delivery of a wide range of projects including option appraisals, feasibility studies, business plans, audience development plans and project evaluations. Colin has been involved in several high profile cultural projects which have secured funding from the HLF including the relocation and construction of Carlisle Record Office, acquisition of the Dr David France Collection of Everton FC memorabilia, conservation of Roslyn Chapel and construction of a new archive centre at the University of Aberdeen.

Colin has also project managed numerous strategic development studies including mapping cultural supply and demand in Pennine Lancashire, a review of MLA’s Accreditation Standard, and a review of the contribution made by community archives to the sustainable communities agenda. Finally, Colin has project managed or contributed to the successful completion of many economic impact studies undertaken by the practice, including an impact appraisal for the introduction of Concorde to the Museum of Flight, and an impact study to assess the contribution made by Chester’s City Walls to the visitor economy.
